Herlikin DuPre and Clopin
Trouillefou have been betrothed to marry - and neither of them are happy

love, my duckling, my angel pie, Covielle. We fell in love while writing
it, and it has been referred to by Belladonna as the longest love letter
written in fanfiction :) That is, a loveletter in the style of Virginia
Woolf's 'Orlando' though perhaps not on that level. ;)

streets by a noblewoman and when Herlikin lays hands on information that
could ruin that noblewoman, she decides to take matters nto her own hands
- but gets more than she bargained for. The noblewoman is none other the

Herli must come to terms

a story about this subject for a while, the title gave me the extra incentive!
The end is a tribute to an old story I read when I was young and enjoyed.

and all legends must end. At least Clopin and Herli always go out on top
- despite the costs. I wanted my two darlings to have a big finish, and
I couldn't envision a more fitting ending for them both.
